George Usi is CEO of Cyber Security Governance as a Service firm Omnistruct, an active Board Member of not-for-profit Secure The Village, and one of multiple founding members of the California IPv6 Task Force.  He is actively involved in IPv6 advocacy with the State of California and Sacramento lawmakers under the mentorship of HP Fellow, Jim Bound†, and Dr Vint Cerf. George was also a contributing writer for the Utility of Commercial Wireless Study – A Technology Roadmap for Disaster Response for Northern Command and was awarded the IPv6 Pioneer Award in 2007 by the IPv6 Forum and Jim Bound for his research work on Terrestrial Based Delay Tolerant First Responder Networks in Disaster Scenarios using IPv6 (MetroNet6).

George holds a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Management from California State University Sacramento and graduated from the Stanford GSB SLEI/LBAN program by Dr Jerry Porras, Dr Paul Oyer, and Dr Hayagreeva “Huggy” Rao

George handles governance, advocacy, and administration of the California IPv6 Task Force not-for-profit, a 501(c)(3) entity and administration of the North American IPv6 Task Force presence and brand.

Ed Horley is co-founder of Hexabuild, an elite next generation networkin consultancy specializing in IPv6 adoption, address plan designs, and education. Ed is actively involved in IPv6 serving as the co-chair of the California IPv6 Task Force. He is the author of Practical IPv6 for Windows Administrators from Apress and was the technical editor of Understanding IPv6, Third Edition by Joseph Davies from Microsoft Press and also for IPv6 Essentials, Third Edition by Silvia Hagen from O’Reilly Media.

Additionally he has presented on IPv6 at the North American IPv6 Summit, Microsoft TechEd North America and TechEd Europe, Cisco Live Europe, Cisco Live US, InterOp and TechMentor along with co-chairing the gogoNETLive! IPv6 Conference.

Ed is a current Microsoft MVP (first awarded back in 2004) and has spent the last 15 years working in networking as an IT Professional. He is actively involved in the Pacific IT Professionals users group http://www.pacitpros.org/ – the largest IT Pro user group in Northern California. Rick teaches computer science and computer networking courses at Cabrillo College in Aptos, California. Rick has worked and taught in the computer networking and information technology field for almost 30 years. Before teaching, Rick worked in IT for various companies, including Santa Cruz Operation, Tandem Computers, and Lockheed Missiles and Space Corporation.

Rick holds a Master of Arts degree in computer science and systems theory from California State University Monterey Bay.

Rick also works for the Cisco Networking Academy Curriculum Engineering team and has written several books for Cisco Press including, but not limited to: IPv6 Fundamentals: A Straightforward Approach to Understanding IPv6

When Rick is not working, he is most likely surfing. Rick is an avid surfer who enjoys surfing at his favorite Santa Cruz breaks.

Scott Hogg is CTO of GTRI in Denver, Colorado.  He provides network engineering, security consulting and training services to clients, focusing on creating reliable, high-performance, secure, manageable and cost-effective solutions. Drawing on almost 30 years of network and security experience, Scott helps organizations leverage cloud services securely and achieve the CCSK and CCSP cloud security certifications. Scott also actively works on cloud security, SDN security and network programmability and has formed the Denver Network Programmability User Group (NPUG) chapter.

Scott is a CCIE #5133 and CISSP #4610. He is not only a founding member of the Rocky Mountain IPv6 Task Force (RMv6TF), and a member of the Infoblox IPv6 Center of Excellence (COE) but has also authored the Cisco Press book on IPv6 Security and writes a popular column for NetworkWorld.com.
