One week until World IPv6 Launch

June 6th is only a week away. We hope everyone is aware of the fact that it is World IPv6 Launch. The goal is for folks on the Internet to turn on IPv6 and leave it on. This is the first in a long list of steps to help the adoption of IPv6. Check out the World IPv6 Launch website for details. If you see a swimming turtle on our site – congratulations – you are accessing our site via IPv6!

Less than 2 weeks left to the North American IPv6 Summit

The registration site is still open for the North American IPv6 Summit but you are running out of time to sign up. The NA IPv6 Summit is the largest IPv6 event in North America and has an amazing list of presenters this year. If you are at all interested in IPv6 and who wouldn’t be, (You are aware of the depletion issue with IPv4 aren’t you and World IPv6 Launch scheduled for 6/6/12?) then you should be attending this event. The conference is only $500US for two packed days of sessions. The conference has some serious sponsorship backers too:
Infoblox, Cisco, HP, BlueCat Networks, A10 Networks, TW Telecom, CenturyLink, Juniper, Comcast, Fortinet, Gigamon and others.

It runs April 10th to the 11th in Denver, CO. There is an optional pre-conference on April 9th that has basic and advanced IPv6 hands on training. See the registration site for details. To top it all off, Nephos6, with the IPv6 Forum, are offering complimentary IPv6 Forum Certified Engineer testing at the conference.  If you would like to test your IPv6 knowledge and show what you know about IPv6, you can register to take their 1-hour exam during April 10th or April 11th during the conference – how cool is that?

If IPv6 has been on your to do list or you have said you need to get up to speed on IPv6 then this is your answer. Come join us in Denver!
